This includes classic and highly aromatic Genovese Italian basil grown locally in the Italian Riveria, combined with pine nuts, crushed garlic, salt, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, a touch of wine vinegar, and only the finest extra virgin olive oil. Lactic and citric acids are included to balance acidity.
This delicious pesto can be added to freshly strained, still-hot al dente pasta for a simple homecooked meal and can also be used to make pesto vinaigrette — or paired with your favorite light fish dish or poached fish, pasta sauce, risotto, or Mediterranean-inspired soup.
